Acadia Insurance coverage in Maine Announces 2 Appointments

Acadia Insurance coverage, a Westbrook, Maine-primarily based subsidiary of W. R. Berkley Corp., announced 2 appointments in its specialty marine unit.

Acadia Insurance said Mark Groenheide will assume the position of assistant vice president, specialty marine. In his new position, he will be responsible for foremost the specialty marine unit for general development and profitability. The specialty marine unit gives both inland and ocean marine insurance products to Acadia agents throughout the Northeast.

Groenheide initial joined Acadia as director of marine in 2010. Prior to Acadia, he was with the Hanover Insurance coverage Group as a marine expert ahead of moving to the ACE Group and doing work as a senior inland marine underwriter for its international residence division.
