Many tornadoes touched down for the duration of storms in Northern California, like a single twister close to Sacramento that broken a dozen homes and left a path of debris about 300 yards prolonged.
The National Weather Service says a funnel cloud touched down close to Roseville shortly right after 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Fire Division Division Chief Kathy Finney tells the Merced Sun-Star that twelve houses suffered roof damage and 6 reported fence injury. No injuries are reported.
The weather support says a tornado also touched down in Ordbend, in Glenn County. KNTV says there are reports of at least 4 twisters, which are rare for California.
The northern half of the state is going through wild climate including thunderstorms packing hefty winds.
Showers are probably to continue via the weekend.
