( – House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says Democrats passed their overall health insurance law, not to insure the uninsured, but to give individuals “quality” overall health care and “affordable” wellness care.

“Madam Leader, isn’t the real measure of achievement, not the raw amount who signed up, but how several of those who signed up have been not insured before?” a reporter asked Pelosi at a news conference on Tuesday.
“No, that’s not — the measure is 2fold,” Pelosi responded. “The message is how many individuals have access to wellness care — good quality, reasonably priced wellness care and insurance coverage.”
